Fairy Meadows Approach
Ride the Karakoram Highway to Raikot Bridge, then hand the bikes over for the local jeep track to Tato and walk up to Fairy Meadows beneath Nanga Parbat.

Overview
Fairy Meadows sits at about 3,300 m below the north face of Nanga Parbat. It is reached from Raikot Bridge on the Karakoram Highway by a narrow gravel jeep track of around 15 km to Tato village, which only local drivers are permitted to drive, followed by a walk of about 5 km.
This concept therefore mixes modes: ride from Gilgit to Raikot Bridge, leave the motorcycles in secure parking, take a local jeep to Tato and walk to the meadows, then return and ride back. The riding itself is on the main highway. Timing varies with road and weather conditions.

Itinerary
Day 1
Gilgit to Raikot Bridge
South on the Karakoram Highway to Raikot Bridge; park the motorcycles and take a local jeep to Tato, then walk up. Timing varies with road and weather conditions.
Overnight: Fairy Meadows
Day 2
Fairy Meadows
A day at the meadows with optional walks towards Nanga Parbat viewpoints.
Overnight: Fairy Meadows Highest point: 3,300 m
Day 3
Down to Raikot Bridge and back to Gilgit
Walk down to Tato, jeep to Raikot Bridge, collect the motorcycles and ride to Gilgit.

Important notes and restrictions
- The Raikot Bridge–Tato track is narrow and only local drivers are allowed to drive it; motorcycles are not planned for this section.
