Overview
Ishkoman is a northern side valley of Ghizer, running up towards the border with Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor. The road leaves the Gilgit–Shandur road near Gahkuch, the Ghizer district headquarters, and heads north through Chatorkhand to Imit, roughly 25 km further on. Altitudes in the valley range from about 2,100 to 3,700 m.
Sources say little about the road surface, so this concept is planned conservatively, with short riding days and a turn-around at Imit. Glacial outburst floods have damaged link roads in the valley before. Timing varies with road and weather conditions.

Day 1
Gilgit to Gahkuch
West along the Gilgit–Shandur road to Gahkuch. Timing varies with road and weather conditions.
Overnight: Gahkuch
Day 2
Gahkuch to Imit
North into Ishkoman through Chatorkhand to Imit.
Overnight: Imit or Chatorkhand
Day 3
Imit to Gahkuch
Morning in Imit, then ride back down the valley.
Overnight: Gahkuch
Day 4
Gahkuch to Gilgit
Return to Gilgit; trip ends.
