Nagar Valleys Ride

Nagar faces Hunza across the river, its villages set beneath Rakaposhi and the peaks of the Hispar range. A side road leads from the Karakoram Highway to Nagar Khas, the old capital, and on roughly 10 km to Hopar, where the Bualtar Glacier (also called the Hopar Glacier) comes down beside the village.

Hopar is also the starting point for the Rush Lake trek, so this concept could be combined with a trekking extension. The riding is short, but the side roads are steeper and narrower than the highway. Timing varies with road and weather conditions.
