Gondogoro Peak (also written Ghondogoro or Gondoro) rises above the Gondogoro Glacier in the upper Hushe valley. Several sources describe it as a summit with little technical difficulty or objective danger, which makes it an entry point to Karakoram climbing.
Published itineraries approach from Hushe and often build in an acclimatisation trek into the Masherbrum valley before moving up the Gondogoro valley. They then camp in a grassy ablation zone below the peak, which sources call Huisprung.
Sources report summit views towards K2, Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums. Those views are a large part of the peak's appeal.
